Vegas in one word - exhilarating.
Overwhelming and fabulous also come to mind but exhilarating kinda captures it all.
Where else can you take a walk through the Strip, stop to grab an ice cold beer for 3 large and then, with drink in hand, just proceed onto the sights and oddities of the Strip. No one stops you. No one bats an eyelid. No one (except you) thinks it's odd. But not so much odd, as exhilarating. Like just what you need to take that edge off your work week, your life, your oh-so-boring existence.
Then the food, oh so amazing food. I had buffet every single day. Salmon sandwich at Snacks at the Bellagio became my dinner of choice. Yummy Gelato at Jean Philippe Patisserie. Todd English's PUB also comes to mind. The beer I had there, I've spent time looking for it in Atlanta. Then, the entertainment: street entertainment, sights and sounds, nightclubs, parties, day parties - what is that? A Day Party?!- And then, much needed pool lounging. Vegas makes pool lounging an art form. Hours spent just sitting by the pool, soaking in the rays, drinking a lot of fruity drinks. YOU CAN DO THAT ALL DAY.

I would love to give a blow by blow account, except, the details are all a blur. I remember the good parts, and those good parts will resonate with me, until I get to take in that craziness again. Tomorrow cannot be too soon. This is one place I will return to so soon after.
Upon arrival, this hobo was a sport to let me take a photo of him.
I tried to capture the euphoria of walking over the foot bridge at Harrah's.
Obligatory shot of my legs enveloped in Vegas sweat.
I thought this was quite a naughty shot of the guy peeking underneath the ladies dress.
Art. Whimsical Art. That's not what you know of Vegas. But it does boast of some good art.
Yes! The Chippendale's show!! Don't I look exhilarated? I was in sheer bliss at this moment. Spent the evening yelling at the top of my lungs at naked men gyrating in front of me. Yum!!
This is what you look like when you make the jaunt from one hotel to another and make a quick $15 taking a survey along the way. Aaaah, Vegas!
Let's take a walk through New York, New York.
More Whimsical Art at the City Center. I practically lived there.
I thank Vegas for introducing me (much to the chagrin of my thighs) to the joys of Gelato. Where has it been all my life?
